Overview

The Cash Analyst is responsible for performing various cash and payment processing functions accurately and timely in accordance with Holland Partner Group's Core Values.

We are seeking a team player with a strong work ethic that offers exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow through. The Holland Team consists of Associates that demonstrate strong leadership, communication, team-building, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all property management bank account reconciliations for multiple databases ensuring monthly financial deadlines are met.

  • Investigate and work with appropriate teams on resolving outstanding bank reconciliation items.

  • Compile and distribute daily banking reports from multiple banking databases.

  • Conduct daily review and completion of Positive Pay files into banking databases from multiple accounting software programs.

  • Manage all online activities such as ACH and Payee Positive Pay exceptions ensuring action is taken prior to deadline.

  • Process stop payments, wires, ACH and internal transfers confirming all required documentation is received.

  • Responsible for ensuring payments for monthly mortgages are paid prior to due date.

  • Track property insurance and property tax payments ensuring all are processed timely.

  • Maintain relationship with multiple banking teams ensuring requested services are fully functional on property accounts.

  • Receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.

  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.

  • Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates.

  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. College courses in Accounting preferred.

Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Account Payable and Accounts Receivable, or one year personal banking experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment.

  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Yardi software preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.

  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative.

  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.

  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.

  • Familiar with real estate management a plus.

Attendance: This full-time position requires the ability to work between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Additional hours or overtime may be required.

This position also requires:

  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.

  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.

Responsibilities * Support the development of enterprise-level solutions from inception through user acceptance and provide continuity as requirements move to solutions, and solutions move to projects. * Assist with hand-off of large-scale business technology projects and objectives, supporting change management and Business Technology goals. * Examine existing business system data flows, evaluate system specifications for business requirements, and make recommendations for improvements. * Analyze major systems and/or programs to design stages, phases and modules, define timelines, then identify and resolve issues. * Interpret a large-scale project's requirements then design, test and implement the most efficient and cost-effective solutions. * Collaborate with the PMO in portfolio road mapping and strategic planning. * Develop and document business/functional requirements through requirement gathering sessions, business process mapping, process analysis, etc. * Support ideation, troubleshooting and resolving business technology issues. * Develop test cases and plans for system, unit, integration testing internally and externally. * Provide creative solutions to business requirements, present options and make recommendations. * Ensure consistent, streamlined communication between business unit stakeholders, Business Technology, PMO, and technical project teams * Develop a gap plan strategy along with roadmap to assist in migration from current to future state. * Lead discussions on alternatives analysis to facilitate the decision-making processes * Seek and propose constant improvement efforts to enhance the overall PMO and Business Technology delivery capability. * Ensure effective communication with appropriate individuals regarding project status. * Collaborate with subject matter experts to share the vision and analyze potential modifications. * Create documentation to validate processes, facilitate training and support cross-training. * Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner always. * Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates. * Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree or coursework in a related field is strongly preferred. A PMI-BA® or BABOK Certification (ECBA) is required.Experience: Five years' business process analysis or data analysis experience required. Bachelor's Degree in information technology, information services, management information systems, or related field may be considered in lieu of some experience.
