The Cash Analyst is responsible for performing various cash and payment processing functions accurately and timely in accordance with Holland Partner Group's Core Values.

  • Responsible for all property management bank account reconciliations for multiple databases ensuring monthly financial deadlines are met.

  • Investigate and work with appropriate teams on resolving outstanding bank reconciliation items.

  • Compile and distribute daily banking reports from multiple banking databases.

  • Conduct daily review and completion of Positive Pay files into banking databases from multiple accounting software programs.

  • Manage all online activities such as ACH and Payee Positive Pay exceptions ensuring action is taken prior to deadline.

  • Process stop payments, wires, ACH and internal transfers confirming all required documentation is received.

  • Responsible for ensuring payments for monthly mortgages are paid prior to due date.

  • Track property insurance and property tax payments ensuring all are processed timely.

  • Maintain relationship with multiple banking teams ensuring requested services are fully functional on property accounts.

  • Receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.

  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.

  • Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates.

  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.


Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. College courses in Accounting preferred.

Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Account Payable and Accounts Receivable, or one year personal banking experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment.

  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Yardi software preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.

  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative.

  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.

  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.

  • Familiar with real estate management a plus.

Attendance: This full-time position requires the ability to work between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Additional hours or overtime may be required.

This position also requires:

  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.

  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.

This position will be working Day shift with shift durations of 8 Hours. Req ID: 166530 JOB SUMMARY Responsible for performing payment related tasks using a manual and/or computerized system which involves receiving, distributing, transferring, and accounting for funds; receipt of payments by cash, checks, credit card, electronic funds transfer.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Daily cash posting and reconciliation of payments, adjustments and rejections from private and third-party payors. 2. May process and reconcile accounts receivable. 3. Prepare deposits in accordance with departmental procedures. 4. Process and monitor the electronic remittance files to ensure accuracy. 5. Maintain and/or enforce security procedures to ensure safety of funds. 6. May research and resolve credit balances that occur due to overpayment at the time of posting. 7. May assist customers by answering inquiries and providing information. 8. Assist with departmental coverage as needed. 9. Perform other duties as assigned.   QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:      * High school diploma or equivalent preferred.   EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:               * Minimum of two years’ experience in an accounting, banking, medical office, billing or insurance account follow-up capacity is required; Formal training or college coursework from a medical coding accredited school, specific to medical billing in lieu of experience may be considered as well * Medical terminology experience preferred. * Knowledge of insurance processes and billing guidelines regulations preferred.   LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: * None.     OTHER SKILLS:   * Proficiency in use of 10-key required. * Proficient use of computers including MS Office applications * Knowledge of insurance and reimbursement policies * Strong data entry skills * Skills in problem solving, organizational and time management * Detail oriented   SYSTEM SERVICES PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS: * Work requires fairly light physical exertion from up to 65% of the time.   * Ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs. or less.       * Work is performed under normal working conditions with adequate lighting and ventilation.        * Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail (up to 65% of work time).
