Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Social Work or aBehavioral Science is required. (Must provide official college/universitytranscript at time of interview)
Two (2) years of work experience in hospital finance/revenue Cycleoperations is required.
Must be able to travel to work sites throughout the Cook CountyHealth and Hospitals System is required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHERCHARACTERISTICS
Knowledge of the managed care environment, third partyreimbursement, hospital and community services and hospital and health carepolicies.
Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility requirements and Cook CountyHealth and Hospitals System and the Department of Human Services policies andprocedures.
Ability to compile, organize, prepare and maintain an assortmentof records and information in an effective manner and according to CCHHSpolicies and procedures.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to work with amulti-culturally and economically diverse patient population.
