At The Arc Wayne of Newark, NY, we are currently hiring a full-time Case Manager to facilitate the personal and vocational growth of a diverse consumer caseload.

A Day In The Life As A Case Manager:

  • Monitor consumer progress and changing needs, and will assist in accessing services that address their needs and promote further growth.

  • Provide crisis intervention, and one-on-one instruction when appropriate, while initiating and implementing individual consumer service plans utilizing behavior modifications, graphic techniques, reinforcement, consumer contracts, goal sheets and referrals to appropriate training programs and/or providers of service.

  • Assist consumers in developing appropriate pre-vocational skills such as appropriate social skills, following directions, understanding production, training in safety and the appropriate usage of job related facilities, attitudes and work habits

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED with one year experience in rehabilitation services or two years of college in the human services field

  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Valid New York State Driver's License

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Work Schedule:

Full Time (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday (7:30 am

  • 3:30 pm)
