JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the quality and resource management of all patients that are admitted to the facility from the point of their admission and across the continuum of the health care management.

Works on behalf of the advocate, promoting cost containment and demonstrates leadership to integrate the health care providers to achieve a perceived seamless delivery of care. The methodology is designed to facilitate and insure the achievement of quality, clinical and cost effective outcomes and to perform a holistic and comprehensive admission and concurrent review of the medical record for the medical necessity, intensity of service and severity of illness.

1.Starting April 1 2015 Minimum 5 years post graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a current state Registered Nurse license.
2.Grandfathered prior to April 1, 2015. Minimum 5 years post graduate of an accredited school Of Social Work for Licensed Clinical Social Worker. However, RN Case Manager preferred.
3.Five years acute care nursing experience preferred. At least one year experience in case management, discharge planning or nursing management, preferred.
4.Current BCLS (AHA) certificate, preferred.
5.Knowledge of Milliman Criteria and InterQual Criteria preferred.
6.Experience and knowledge in basic to intermediate computer skills.
7.Behavioral Violence Prevention Training within 3 months of hires and maintain current.

Shift: 1

Legend: Shift 1=Day, 2=Evening, 3=Night, 4=Varied.

VIEW JOBS 12/8/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-08T00:00 Overview Manage department employees, as well as programs utilized across the Philadelphia sites to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements; specifically Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Points to Consider (PTC), International Conference on Harmonization (ICH), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Tissue Practices (GTP), GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11 and relevant foreign regulatory guidelines for biopharmaceuticals. Manage compliance, critical functions for the site including the audit program, equipment and computerized systems, and verification and validation review. Monitor, trend, and report on aspects of the Quality Systems, client audits and changes to industry regulations. Work collaboratively within the department and with other departments to obtain site initiatives and meet industry best practice. Responsibilities * Lead and manage employees to ensure that employees are fully trained; providing adequate leadership, mentoring and support. Ensure compliance with established SOP's, GMP's, GLP's and with changes to GxP including FDA, EU, and other relevant foreign regulatory bodies as well as guidance documents. Interfaces with company's internal departments, clients, FDA and other appropriate regulatory officials on QA / regulatory matters. * Manage and conduct multiple facets of internal, external and vendor/supplier audits and program(s). * Lead/Support client, regulatory and accreditation audits and inspections; respond to inspection findings in a satisfactory and timely manner. * Support from the QA perspective validation / qualification activities for the facility, utilities and equipment * Write, review, or approve Change Controls, Periodic Reviews. * Cross functional Metrology and QA Representative for Equipment/Software Validations * Ability to accomplish the described duties through the use of appropriate computer equipment and software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access). * Accomplishes staff results by communicating updated organizational information, job expectations & supporting their work * Plans, monitors, and appraises direct reports including performance competencies, goals & job results * Coaches, counsels, and conducts disciplinary actions * Develops, coordinates, and follows organizational systems, policies, procedures, and follows labor and capacity standards * May be required to work Holidays and weekends * Normally receives minimal instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments. * Contributes to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals * Perform job specific tasks in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards, and WuXi AppTec Policies and Standard Operating Procedures. * Thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) * Performs other duties as assigned * May be required to assist in other departments Qualifications Experience / Education * 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent * Minimum of 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience * Masters, Bachelors degree in a Science related field or equivalent experience Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: * Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills * Need to be able to read, write and understand English (Mandarin) * Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Travel is required 10% , Domestic/International, Daily / Overnight Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Wuxi Apptec Philadelphia PA
