WHO WE ARE:

Gulf Coast JFCS is comprised of over 550 dedicated people committed to improving the lives children and families of all religions and nationalities. The only prerequisite is need. Annually, GCJFCS supports more than 40,000 people throughout Florida. Our programs are designed to protect children from abuse and neglect; to help people overcome substance abuse, to manage mental health, or to gain control of debilitating behaviors; to care for and connect seniors to needed services; to provide emergency financial and food assistance to support Holocaust survivors; and to welcome and help resettle refugees from around the world.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You'll provide direct case management services to children, birth families, foster families and primary caregiver(s) in the home setting, day care, preschool, and/or school to ensure they receive services appropriate to their needs, and continuity of care focused on resolving or preventing the issues of child abuse or neglect. You'll provide assessment, planning, linkage, coordination, monitoring, evaluation and advocacy to the child, family, foster family and primary caregiver. You'll team with a therapist, foster parents, primary caregiver, guardian ad litem and other appropriate professionals. Finally, you'll develop, strengthen and maintain a direct working relationship with mental health professionals, community agencies and the childs own support system.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a related field

  • Current Drivers License and Proof of Insurance
