Our hire conducts conferences with involved parties to gather earnings and medical information then populated within Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES) to recommend an appropriate amount of child and/or spousal support to be paid upon the filing of a complaint; conducts conferences when petitions are filed for increase, decrease, and termination; prepares court documents and attends court hearings; maintains oversight of cases; tracks missed payments, monitors enforcement remedies; prepares cases for court; and completes paperwork.


Qualified candidate must hold a high school diploma or GED, although an associate degree in criminal justice, paralegal training, social work, sociology, psychology, or other directly related field is a plus; minimum of two years' related administrative experience is required; skills sought include strong customer service orientation; effective interpersonal relations and communications skills (both verbal and written); basic math skills; proofreading skills and attention to detail; experience maintaining confidentiality; experience leading, motivating, and working closely with people of all backgrounds; skills to elicit information in emotional situations; demonstrated experience setting schedules and meeting deadlines, and juggling multiple priorities; and computer literacy.

VIEW JOBS 10/7/2022 12:00:00 AM 2023-01-05T00:00 <p>The Enforcement Specialist Case Manager (ESCM) assists clients who are not currently working. The ESCM facilitates training and addresses other barriers to employment with an end towards ensuring that clients receive assistance in accessing and maintaining gainful employment. Modifies orders, carries out necessary enforcement, and evaluates case closures, if necessary. Conducts client interviews to determine client’s skills, educational background and barriers to employment. Maintains regular follow-up appointments with clients to ensure compliance with the job search program. Conducts modification hearings and assesses Defendants’ actual or imputed earning capacities. Counsels walk-in clients or referrals. Answers telephone, voice-mail and emails associated with Defendants’ cases. Coordinates with other court departments as needed. Lists and prepares cases for Contempt Court by completing summary paperwork. Appears as a Domestic Relations Section representative at regular, contempt and bench warrant hearings before the judge to present cases. Processes bench warrant paperwork for non-appearance and court-ordered support violations. Collects payments and performs other duties as assigned.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Bachelors degree or combination of post secondary school and work experience in the Social Science field. One plus year of social services experience.
