• Prior experience in a medical office setting with proficiency in Microsoft EXCEL, Office and Word preferred.

• Working under the direction of RN Case Managers, Social Workers, and Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists. Dependable, professional working experience in a fast-paced environment that demanded strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills. He/she functions with peers and other care providers and physicians for problem-solving, facilitating and organizing the day-to-day operations of the Case Management Department. The person in this position coordinates, oversees, records and transmits information necessary to support the resource management of patients.

• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Associates degree preferred.

• License/Certifications: N/A

• Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in a medical setting preferred.

• Basic medical terminology required.

• Strong customer service skills and good verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to work productively in a team structure and capable of working with multiple tasks simultaneously

• Computer skills: Microsoft Office products proficiency.

• Some knowledge of community agencies/resources.
