This position is located in the Washington, DC . Your standard hours will be 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Flexibility to work overtime is required.

The paralegal team performs a wide range of substantive case, matter and entity related duties by supporting our attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma

  • Basic knowledge in MS Word and Excel

Preferred Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree and/or a paralegal certificate highly preferred

  • 1 year experience in a law firm supporting paralegals and/or attorneys

  • experience with creating closing binders, tracking exhibits for large transactions

  • experience uploading documents to Teamsites, virtual data rooms and portals

  • experience using Kira

  • experience working with invoices

  • Proficient in MS Outlook

What will your day look like?

Your responsibilities will include assisting attorneys and paralegals in maintaining case files and creating and updating databases and web-rooms. You will also conduct research and analyze data from a variety of sources for incorporation into briefs and drafting summary reports. Additional duties include compiling documents in support of briefs and witness interviews, organizing document productions, and preparing detailed indices for attorney review. Finally, you may assist with projects that use litigation software, including: Relativity, Concordance, and CaseMap.
