Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and/or fixtures of wood, plywood, and/or wallboard while using carpenter's hand tools and power tools at the Property as well as general engineering support to ensure quality and an exceptional experience for guests.
Finish work including panels, finishes, interior/exterior trim, and installation of cabinetry.
Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw.
Adhere to OSHA regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenter's hand and power tools.
Experience working with builders levels, laser levels, and trade-applicable hand tools and power tools.
Perform tile masonry repairs to include tile installation (vct/ct), concrete form construction, concrete finishing, stucco, block installation and general concrete repairs
Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, and power tools.
Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
Inspect ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
Keep Supervisor informed of potential problems or unusual events.
Assist with requisitions, provides estimates/specifications for supplies and materials necessary to complete projects.
Install, maintain, and repair various flooring and sub flooring.
Assist the Facilities department in the maintenance, repair, cleaning, and safety of all guest and employee areas, as well as, parking lot, grounds, and adjacent lots to include any off property site used by the company.
Other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.

Experience in casino, hospitality, and/or hotel industry.

Education / Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age, or older.
High School diploma or equivalent, required.
4 years or more vocational carpentry.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Any combination of education beyond the minimum requirement as well as any experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary will be considered.
Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
