COMMERCIAL CARPENTER Qualified candidates should have no less than five years of recent carpentry experience with emphasis on concrete formwork, both manufactured and stick build type, and background on commercial construction project worksites, preferably with a general contractor. Knowledge of rough/form, rough frame, interior build-out, blocking, and hardware installation.

Should be able to handle and operate a variety of carpentry power tools safely. The ability to read commercial blueprints is a plus but not required. Duties will be but not be limited to the framing of decks and walking platforms, must be able to cut stair stringers, install and breakdown of manufactured as well as stick build forms and form systems (experience in finishing concrete a plus), installing blocking during interior metal frame stage and hang accessories related to the blocking specs, install commercial door frames-doors and hardware and other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Candidates will work in various weather conditions and elevations throughout the structure. Candidates may also be required to climb (stairs/ladders), work in a squatting or kneeling position, and be able to carry the required tools and materials to complete assigned work. Must supply own hand tools: 16oz.
