Function/Duties of Position
Provide Journeyman level Carpentry skills to grounds and building facilities on the campuses of Oregon Health & Science University.
Experience as a skilled carpenter, including form building; rough framing; outside and inside finishing; layout; care and use of tools and woodworking machinery; blueprint reading; and application of safety standards and codes; or completion of an apprenticeship (four years) under a skilled carpenter which included experience as listed above.
Working knowledge of the Uniform Building Code. Journeyman skills and ability in: concrete forming and finishing per industry standards, lay and repair brick and concrete block work. MSDS Information, National Fire Protection Asso.
Valid State of Oregon or Washington Driver's License and OHSU acceptable driving record.
Certification in use of power actuated tools.
