Carpenter

The Personnel Commission announces an OPEN and PROMOTIONAL recruitment. This recruitment will result in the establishment of one integrated eligibility list.

Promotional candidates will have seniority points added to final passing scores (.25 of a point for every year of classified service up to a maximum of 5 points). This list will be used to fill current and future vacancies and will be active for one year or until cancelled. There is currently ONE positions open in Maintenance & Operations. This is an 8 hour/day, 12 month position.

Under the direction an assigned supervisor, perform skilled carpentry work in the repair, alteration, and construction of wooden articles and structures. This may involve other skilled maintenance activities on occasion. Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of varied experience in the carpentry trade at the journey level.
