Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Performs all types of carpentry work in maintenance, repair, modification, and construction on all wood building structures and wood portion of masonry and steel structures from blueprints and specifications.
Repairs tables, cabinets, consoles, furniture, and other related cabinet making duties.
Repairs conventional and non-conventional roofing.
Work involves planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments, making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work and selecting materials necessary for the work.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Knowledgeable of, and capable of compliance with, the International Building Code (IBC) and Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) carpentry quality standards.
1 to 2 years of related experience
