Net-New (non-established solution sales) Payer Software Sales
Central / Eastern Regions
The primary purpose of this role is to refine and grow revenue within our payer segment. This is a non-established solutions sale - creative, consultative selling to clinical and operational buyers.
This Allscripts Careport sales executive will share with payers a set of solutions designed to improve outcomes in a number of different areas including readmission reduction, decreasing spend/cost for members, decreasing utilization and creating efficiencies. Our platform gives payers visability into where their members are. As members move through the continum, our platform will help payers streamline the post-acute authorization process. Our CarePort solutions help payers position information w/ providers and with patients/members such that they can consider selecting higher-performing post-acute providers. We help measure on the backend and evaluate how providers are performing for our members. Where are they? How do we improve the authorization process that will move patients to higher-performing providers, and how do we measure outcomes? Allscripts CarePort solutions provide exceptional competitive advantage for our payer clients.
Achievement of Annual sales order intake quotas/targets

Increases net promoters/customer referenceability
Responsiveness to customer issues and management of escalations and critical deliverables
Minimizes customer attrition through high quality customer support/relationships

7+ years' experience selling software to payers
Experienced at selling a start-up/non-established solution to complex, enterprise clients
Proven track record of success in payer sales over a sustained period
Strong knowledge of healthcare IT payer market
Successful background at engaging w/ c-level re. consulting / sales
