Caregiver/ PCA

Citadel Home Care is seeking a personal care assistant to assist with a client in Wayne, PA.

Female Patient with Down's Syndrome, needs assistance and prompting with tasks.

Shifts: 16 hour shifts 7days/week. (start time flexible), 8:00am-4:00pm, and 4:00pm-12:00am

Care: Patient has down's syndrome, and needs assistance with most daily tasks. Family is requesting a female caregiver who drives

Location: Wayne, PA

Pay: $14p/h

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a caregiver or PCA preferred, but not required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation- drives. Place not accessible by public transportation
