Caregiver Or Med Tech - Assisted Living - FT

Friendship Village Tempe is seeking Certified Caregivers/Med Techs to join our Assisted Living team!

Caregiver Starting Pay: $16.85-$18.54 per hour depending on years of experience

Med Tech Starting Pay: $18.85-$20.10 per hour depending on years of experience

Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm Friday-Monday

CAREGIVER SUMMARY: To assist in the provision of resident care by performing non-licensed nursing/caregiver duties under the direction and supervision of a designated licensed nurse or the Assisted Living Services Manager following established policies and procedures.

MED TECH SUMMARY: The Medication Technician assists with the administration of medications under the direct supervision of a licensed practical nurse. Assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine non-licensed duties and assists with activities of daily living.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).

• Three-months of previous experience in a hospital, nursing home or assisted living.

• At least 18 years of age.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Caregiver certified in Supervisory, Personal and Directed Care levels by an instructor licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

• Must possess and maintain valid Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card.
