Caregiver Memory Care - Part Time

Friendship Village Tempe is seeking a Caregiver or Med Tech to join our Memory Care team part time!

Starting Pay: Caregiver - $16.85-$18.10 Med Tech $18.85-$20.10

Schedule: 2:00pm-10:00pm on Fridays and Sundays

Starting Pay:

Caregiver -$16.85-$18.10/hr, DOE

Med Tech - $18.85-$20.10/hr, DOE

SUMMARY:

Both: To assist in the provision of resident care by performing non-licensed nursing/caregiver duties under the direction and supervision of a designated licensed nurse or the Assisted Living Services Manager following established policies and procedures.

Med Tech:The Medication Technician assists with the administration of medications under the direct supervision of a licensed practical nurse. Assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine non-licensed duties and assists with activities of daily living.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Three-months of previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living setting or at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.

• At least 18 years of age.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Must have Caregiver Certification in Supervisory, Personal and Directed Care levels by an approved instructor through training institution licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services/NCIA Board.

• Maintain CPR certification and First Aid training specific to adults.

• Must possess and maintain valid Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card
