Job Summary

The Caregiver

• DSP Home Coordinator is responsible for providing care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the individuals in their care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management

• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Monitor and document individual progress and behavior

• Coordinate and communicate with other caregivers, medical professionals, and family members

• Ensure a safe and clean living environment

• Attend training and meetings as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
