AccentCare of Washington is seeking reliable, compassionate Care Partners. At AccentCare of Washington we provide paid training, sick time, mileage & travel time (between Clients), and we work with your schedule offering a variety of shifts.

Job Summary:

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and skills required of personnel so classified.

Care Partners provide both Personal Care Services (hands-on) as well as Homemaking Tasks (non-hands-on) for clients. The purpose of the Care Partner is to provide non-medical support to the client, enabling them to remain in their own home.

  • Responsible for providing personal assistance services such as light housekeeping, personal care, respite, and escorts for the client in accordance with the established service plan to enable the client to function in the home and community.

  • Shall perform services as identified on the Service Plan.

  • Report to the supervisor any significant changes in client's circumstances or condition.

  • Shall report emergency situations to appropriate individuals in accordance with written policies.

  • Check for safety measures to be taken on an on-going basis for client and attendant protection.

  • Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to the Compliance Program: Code of Conduct, HIPAA and Documentation Standards.

  • Maintains a commitment to the values and mission of AccentCare of Washington.


  • Current CPR Certification & First Aid Certification (Ask us how we can help)

  • Current TB Test (within 90 days of hire)

  • Must be able to work in a safe manner without direct supervision

  • Must be able to respond to emergency situations in a calm and effective manner

VIEW JOBS 3/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-15T00:00 Client Care Coordinator / Scheduler (Staffing) Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: The Client Care Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of services between clients and caregivers for the implementation of schedules, adequate staffing and continuity of care to best meet the needs of the clients. The client Care Coordinator reports directly to: The Director. CLASSIFICATION: TBD SUPERVISION EXERCISED: In-Direct PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Answer the telephone and greet the public. * Be dependable: arrive on time and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. * Recruit and advertise for direct care staff. * Process applications and check references. Conduct criminal background checks for potential employees. Schedule interviews for potential employees with appropriate supervisor. Ensure TB tests are obtained upon hire and annual testing records maintained. * Conduct new caregiver staff orientation. * Schedule caregiver staff for hours of service on new clients and open hours/shifts on existing cases. Provide consistency in caregiver scheduling. * Maintain computer schedules and timely data entry for schedules and client information. * Ensure that employee files are complete by entering appropriate information into the scheduling system * Maintain documentation on all current and past clients. * Monitor the telephony logs on a daily basis. Counsel staff regarding tardiness and correct use of the system. Make the appropriate corrections to the system to facilitate accurate processing of payroll. * Ensure timely copying and filing of appropriate caregiver and client documentation. * Participate in 90-day and annual evaluations of caregiver staff. * Recognize and reward good job performance and promote caregiver recognition. * Maintain positive relationships with clients and referral sources. * Independently respond to and resolve client complaints and concerns. * Communicate and refer appropriate matters to the Director for additional guidance. * Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and client's families. * Communicate and reinforce Visiting Angels' policies and procedures, Basic 12 and the Points System to caregiver staff. * Manage on-call evening and weekend care, as directed. Keep on-call materials current with client information, instructions and directions, current roster of care and roster of active direct care staff. * Perform other functions, as deemed appropriate by the management team. REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * High school diploma and two years of experience in an office setting, preferably in private duty homecare. * Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) applications, scheduling systems and other healthcare industry-related software. * Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently, and diplomatically - both orally and in writing. * Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor in all situations. * Present a well-groomed image that reflects the professionalism of the business. * Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately complete work activities within specific deadlines while appropriately managing interruptions. * Ability to generate goodwill for the Agency with staff, clients, their family members and referral sources. Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service excellence. * Ability to lawfully work in the U.S. PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: * Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hours. * Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., if working with clients. * Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately to fully meet requirements of this position. * Must be able to properly operate office equipment. * Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, leadership team, supervisors, clients, family members, vendors and all business associates within or outside the Agency. * All of the above demands are subject to the ADA requirements.
