Summary of the role
The Delivery PMO Project Manager is responsible for developing and executing activities related to end-to-end program/project management, including identifying project requirements/deliverables, creating project plans, and managing scope. They proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables through all program/project phases while interacting with the internal teams, setting reasonable expectations and managing project change. They additionally are responsible for appropriate executive level reporting, relevant business case creation, clear business process creation and documentation, and creating effective presentations.
Manage complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
Manage all aspects of projects to ensure they are aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
Manage project scope and changes
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
Understand and create presentations showing how Navitaire solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices

Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline or equivalent experience
Mininum of 10 years experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership
Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
Candidate to provide documentation samples that they created that demostrate experience with business process creation, executive reporting and effective presentation skills.
Airline or travel industry experience
Strong Technical skills or understanding
Demonstrated comfort in working with and leading both technical and non-technical personnel
PMP Certification preferred
Foreign language speaking abilities a plus
Proven ability to work proactively and drive issues and deliverables to resolution
Strong written and oral communication skills
