Appropriate CTE or Designated Subjects teaching credential or eligibility for appropriate credential. Candidates without a credential must have 3 years' experience within the field.
CalAPS will assist individuals in obtaining the preliminary credential provided the candidate can prove applicable proof of experience. Credential cost will be reimbursed by CalAPS. Three (3) years of work experience in the technical skills, trade, or vocations to be taught are required. One (1) of the three (3) years of the required experience must be within the last five (5) years, or two (2) years within the last ten (10) years.

This position requires a high level of creativity, a passion for the culinary arts, and a commitment to providing students with a high-quality educational experience that equips them with the skills necessary to succeed in the culinary industry. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in a bakery or restaurant setting, and a background in education or instructional roles. A degree or certification in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, or a related field is preferred.
