Job Summary:

The part-time Scheduling Coordinator for the Urology Suite will work (3) 8 hour shifts, M-F from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (No weekends required). This position is based at Englewood Medical Center in an impressive medical suite with a cohesive team. This role comes with comprehensive perks and benefits!

The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for the management and coordination of the Physician's schedule, pre-certifying insurances, communicating with the Operating Room and performing other clerical/secretarial functions. Qualified candidates will possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills to ensure successful and sound problem resolution.

Demonstrated strong customer service, interpersonal communication and organizational/time management skills are required. Future incumbent must be able to foster effective teamwork. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required in order to manage high phone and patient volumes. Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented and able to change from one task to another, without the loss of efficiency or composure.

Job Essentials:

• At least 1 year of medical procedure scheduling experience in in a clinical office required.

• Experience in healthcare and knowledge of medical terminology.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications and EMRs, preferably EPIC.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Associate's Degree preferred.
