Job Summary:

Englewood Hospital seeks an Occupational Health Services Nurse to assist in coordinating all aspects of occupational health services for hospital employees and corporate entities that contract for this service for their employee populations. This role plans, directs and coordinates the operations of Employee Health Services and manages staff for optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • Provide direct client care to optimize health and prevent illness/injury.

  • Assist with exams, testing, and vaccination programs.

  • Coordinate healthcare services for work-related injuries or illnesses.

  • Offers health care counsel to employees and employers.

  • Assess health and safety needs of the workplace.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and legal requirements.

  • Assist with budget management.

  • Attend relevant committees and workgroups.

  • Supervise and manage staff performance.

  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships.

  • Engage in professional development and licensure requirements.

Hours: 8am to 4pm

Job Essentials:

  • 3-5 years clinical nursing experience.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BSN) required

  • Master's Degree preferred

License/Certification/Registry:

  • Current NJ RN license
