Job Description:
40% Program and Event Management

  • Develop and manage assigned UCC events and programs

  • Facilitate and manage event registration through the online career services management system

  • Manage event logistics such as arranging event parking, completing catering and space reservations, and creating volunteer schedules.

  • Collect and analyze post-event data to develop reports

  • Management and upkeep of employer profiles and contact details of employers attending events in the system
    30% Partnerships

  • Work with UCC staff to coordinate the management of events

  • Assist with the management of industry partner relationships for events and programs

  • Develop and maintain relationships with on-campus partners for events and special programs

  • Collaborate with UCC career coaches to develop programs and coordinate relationships with campus and industry partners for career and networking events
    20% Communications

  • Disseminate information to UCC career coaches about employers and hiring positions related to events and special programs

  • Collaborate with UCC Marketing Team to develop marketing materials for events and special programs

  • Collaborate with the UCC Marketing Team to promote UCC career events across campus

  • Respond to inquiries about events

  • Recruit volunteers to work at UCC events
    10% Miscellaneous

  • Other duties as assigned by UCC leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, or four years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent written communications skills as evidenced by application materials.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in higher education, human resources, marketing or related areaprefer experience in a college career center

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple and diverse constituents.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment within stated guidelines.

  • Experience acting as a liaison between students, employer representatives, faculty and staff.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
