Responsibilities

  • Manage and update internal tracking systems

  • Review case files to ensure compliance with contractual agreements

  • Conduct file and system maintenance reviews for all Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act programs

  • Assist with the development, implementation and enforcement of quality assurance plans

  • Conduct Company Quality Measurement Tool standard quarterly reviews to ensure standard operating procedures and services are being effectively delivered

  • Recommend corrective actions; implement corrective action plans, regarding overall project success

  • Customer satisfaction results to senior management and keeps senior management informed as to the status of program case management and performance

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures

  • Develop and coordinate training activities to ensure that all operations staff are properly trained to implement project activities effectively

  • Assist and manage weekly follow-up calls to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act customers to update employment status

  • Direct related work experience in quality control or performance monitoring

  • Familiarity with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations

  • Accustomed to complex, fast-paced and confidential work environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including understanding the legal language of contracts

  • Demonstrated computer skills, able to use various software programs for correspondence, reports, statistical compilation and analysis, and database access

  • Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with, and among, all personnel

  • Must support the mission of the Company

  • Must be able to work occasionally long or extended hours, including weekends

  • Must maintain the confidentiality of all information housed in the division

  • Other work-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required in human services related field or three years equivalent work experience and a minimum of two years of contract experience

  • Preferred have managed federal programs

  • Must pass State criminal background check and drug screen

  • Must be able to pass Office of Motor Vehicle check and be insurable through the Company's automotive liability carrier. Must provide own transportation and maintain proper vehicle registration and insurance

  • Must be able to tolerate frequent periods of high stress, heavy workload and multiple priorities

  • Extensive standing, sitting, computer, phone, and desk work required; work primarily in a defined office environment with specified hours, although flexible hours may be required

  • Must be able to interact one-on-one and in groups with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds

  • Availability for occasional out-of-office meetings, conferences, and other events may be required; travel may be required

About this opportunity Lead the Quality Management System for the Multi-site ISO certified Quality Management System for the Invisalign product line. Includes oversite of San Jose design center, operations in Mexico and Costa Rica, and sales offices in the Americas region. Lead the quality system for distribution of other Align product lines within the Americas. Partner with other regional QA leaders to globally harmonize the QMS and clarify interfaces among Align sites. In this role, you will… * Lead team of > 1000 QA resources dispersed over 7 locations in the Americas. * Provide leadership for Quality Management System activities to ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, MDSAP and all applicable worldwide regulatory requirements as included in the scope of Align's Quality Manual. * Guide transformation of design control and design change processes for San Jose design center * Partner with operations leadership to improve the functioning of the QMS at manufacturing facilities and streamline process handoffs between locations. * Establish and report key quality system metrics for accountability * Escalate nonconformities in the Quality System to upper management where appropriate. In this role, you'll need … Candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * In depth knowledge of the Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO 13485, MDSAP, and EU Medical Device Regulation. * High level of knowledge of all QMS sub-systems including: CAPA, internal audits, risk management, design control, verification and validation, internal and external audits, management responsibility, training. * Experience leading a geographically dispersed quality organization in a medical device company which includes software as a medical device products * Experience leading operational quality as well as administrative QMS teams and improving effectiveness and efficiency of staff. Ability to manage direct staff for optimal performance, coach as needed and raise the bar * Demonstrated leadership through influence as well as direct line reporting structures. Must be able to communicate globally and create followership. * Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing business objectives, be willing to adapt to change, as well as being capable of driving change. * Must be able to influence and interact well with all levels of management, co-workers, and direct reports. * Must possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and work independently as well as in close collaboration with others. Education and Experience: * BS in Management, Engineering or Science preferred. * 10 + years in a lead Quality role at a medical device company (12+ for Sr. Director) * Experience in quality leadership role at a medical device company, experience with SaMD products and materials based products Software-related quality (SaMD, SiMD) experience is a must. * Extensive experience interfacing with FDA/international regulatory agencies as well as ISO notified bodies. * Certified Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Blackbelt, or Certified Quality Manager certification is a plus.
