PURPOSE
Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district, state, and federal requirements, guidelines, and standards.

Work Hours: 7:10am-3:10pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential. REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options:
Must possess knowledge of effective practices, including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
Required: Have minimum of 5 years directly related work experience over the last 10 years; and have the ability to obtain a Workplace Specialist License or hold a CTE credential.
Preferred: Possesses an earned juris doctor degree or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution; and have a minimum of 2 years directly related work experience and holds the ability to obtain a Workplace Specialist License.
Enthusiasm for Career and Technical Education
Ability to supervise the "lab environment" for pre-law studies
Outstanding communication skills
Experience assisting students to make viable, realistic career decisions.
Professional organizational skills
Have verifiable work experience outside of education
Have the ability to improve and enhance the Public Safety Academy based upon on industry standards
Ability to develop partnerships with area employers
Experience in vocational education or technical training preferred
Be computer literate
Willing to participate in continuing professional development
Ability to work with ALL stakeholders and business partners in the development of the program
