The Care Team Manager supports leadership in day-to-day oversight of behavioral health operations and management by ensuring clinical teams function effectively and deliver high-quality care.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide oversight for day-to-day operations and management of clinical teams.

  • Support client programs management.

  • Supervise Clinical Managers/BCBAs by ensuring that they have the tools and training necessary to effectively provide care and manage their direct reports.

  • Consults with Clinical Manager(s) on cases that require a higher level of clinical supervision (e.g. Functional Analysis approval process).

  • Support clinical excellence and adhere to quality and funder standards through client report and session note reviews, RBT supervision and audits.

  • Carry out specific individual clinical responsibilities in the treatment of clients and in the support of families as assigned:

  • Conduct initial assessment of clients diagnosed with IDD and produce assessment report to include a recommendation for treatment and supervision hours.

  • Create and lead implementation of treatment plans and/or behavior intervention plans, as appropriate.

  • Provide direct care services as needed (social skills group, BCBA supervision, etc.).

  • Collaborate with additional service providers on the client's support team to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

  • Address program delivery with families, including parent/caregiver coaching, challenges with implementation of program, parent/caregiver participation, and work environment, as necessary.

  • Intervenes as necessary to support relationships with client families, attends to formal grievances and escalations related to clinical programs.

  • Meet or exceed individual and team productivity and billable hours targets.

  • Support the development and execution of the individual's and supervised team's annual V2MOM (Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, Measures) goals.

  • Collaborate with Family of Companies (FoC) shared services departments to ensure successful delivery and application of clinical excellence-, finance-, client services/scheduling, revenue cycle-, data analytics-, quality-, people operations-, and recruiting-related services to day-to-day operations.

  • Ensure compliance, regulatory, and funder requirements are met, and act if they are not.

  • Partner with colleagues to ensure a positive customer experience for all clients through coordinated service delivery.

  • Maintain necessary continuing education requirements.

  • Complete additional duties as assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing for a minimum of two years

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing for at least five years preferred

  • Three to five years' experience providing staff direction, training and development in a supervisory role in behavioral health programs or other multi-disciplinary team setting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong skills in leadership, mentoring and managing teams.

  • Knowledgeable of evidence-based methodologies found to benefit children diagnosed with ASD or other developmental disorders.

  • Experience providing services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

  • Strong clinical background and knowledge in best practices in Autism Services/Behavioral Health

  • Commitment to building, developing, and supporting diverse teams.

  • Familiar with common modalities in ABA treatment delivery, including but not limited to; Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS), Essential for Living (EFL)

  • Familiar with child and adolescent development and best practices.

  • Sensitive to working with ethnic, linguistic, and economically diverse local populations

  • Exercise confidentiality and discretion (HIPAA) pertaining to the work environment.

  • Work independently and to be flexible in changing work priorities

  • Attend all required training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit for extended periods of time up to and including 6-8 hours a day.

  • Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace.

  • Visual and auditory ability to work with staff and others in the workplace continuously.

  • Utilize computer, cell phone.

  • Frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively within the workplace, read and write using the primary language within the workplace.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.

  • Ability to obtain all required medical clearance through primary care physician (e.g. TB).

Time Type:

Full time

Compensation:

$120,000-$130,000 annually
