The Arbors Assisted Living is currently seeking friendly, and reliable people to assist our residents with their activities of daily living. The shifts are 12 hours long; either 7a-7p or overnight 7p-7a. We have full time, part time and flexible per diem schedules with room for growth in all five of our communities. The starting pay is $12 an hour.

Whatyou will do: The Plant Manager is responsible formanaging the activities of workers engaged in producing and repackaging of compressedand liquid gases into cylinders, oversight for all phases of distribution,correcting unsafe acts or conditions without delay, and assigning job tasks toworkers according to customer needs, current stock levels and workers'expertise. Your responsibilities: * Operates andsafely maintains the plant for pumping or repackaging of gases into cylinderswhile ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and company policies,procedures, regulations and laws. Maintains a neat, clean and orderly plantappearance. * Studiesproduction schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion ofjob assignments. * Establishesand/or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. * Implementsmeasures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and productquality. * Modifiesworking conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. * Ensures allsafety rules are strictly observed and safety training is regularly scheduled,conducted and documented. Interpret company policies to workers and enforcesafety regulations. * Ensures allinjuries and accidents are properly investigated and reported within 24 hours. * Analyzes andresolves, or assists workers in solving, work related problems. Recommendsand/or initiates personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges,and disciplinary measures. Ensures associate issues, grievances, etc. areeffectively handled. * Manages andleads subordinate supervisors to provide leadership. Initiate and/or suggestplans to motivate workers to achieve goals. Provides coaching and correctiveaction promptly, to ensure that poor performers are identified, documented andimproved to acceptable performance, or released. * Trains newworkers and cross trains associates to continue production during personnelshortages. * Maintains timeand production records and approves overtime when essential, while keepingovertime at acceptable levels. * Additionalduties and projects as may be assigned. * The above jobfunctions are illustrative of the duties and responsibilities associated with thisposition and are not intended to be all inclusive. Employee may perform otherrelated duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Whatyou will have: * High SchoolDiploma or GED. * A total of five(5) years of industry experience to include a minimum of two (2) years ofdemonstrated experience working in a supervisory/leadership role. Prefer priorexperience with compressed/packaged gases. * Priorexperience utilizing SAP preferred. * Intermediateknowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). * Stronganalytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to leverage metrics andrelated tools to improve production efficiency and effectiveness. * Excellent oraland written communication skills. Communication skills that ensure a smoothflow of information between self and others through clear speaking and writing,encouragement of open expression of ideas, and effective listening. * Stronginterpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with others in bothfavorable and unfavorable situations regardless of status of position. Acceptscultural diversity and establishes effective working relationships. * Demonstratedknowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all unitsof measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to computerate, ratios, and percent. * Strong verbaland written communication skills. * Self-starter;self-motivated; well organized; ability to work independently. * Detail orientedwith the ability to complete handwritten compliance documentation neatly and accurately. * Demonstrateddedication to product quality and customer satisfaction. * Able to operatea fork-lift. * Lives by Airgassafety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which areapplicable to this position's responsibilities.
