Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory and replenishment of inventory in a distribution center's CARE room.

Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory and replenishment of inventory in a distribution center's CARE room, checking product recall and expired products, receiving customer pack returns and putting away of returns, working directly with purchasing, customer service, sales force, and warehouse teammates. Responsible for filling customer pack orders and getting them ready for shipment in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. Responsible for the cleanliness, completeness, and correctness of all orders filled.


  • Maintains accurate and up to date production lists for each pack.

  • Ensure all pack containers are thoroughly cleaned.

  • Receives work orders from CSW and reads work orders to ascertain catalog number, size, color, and quantity of product.

  • Pick product from bins or shelves and organizes in work area for production of the pack.

  • Produces packs in a standardized and efficient manner according to the company standards.

  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Responsible for Inventory Control practices in the CARE room. (i.e., Maintains accurate inventory locations, moves inventory locations, inventory accuracy, etc.)

  • Maintains necessary supplies required for daily pack production.

  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, quality of product, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency of the CARE room.

  • Maintains flexible hours as required in order to ensure customer needs are met.

  • Checks, receives, breaks down, and separates incoming customer returns and adjusts inventory levels.

  • Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work area that meet or exceed the company standards for a CARE room.

  • Ability to communicate and present job functions during customer visits.

  • Assists in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse and CARE room.


Performs additional duties as directed.


Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Talking is important for those activities in which workers must impart oral information to clients or to the public, and in those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.


  • EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING: General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, keying, etc. Equal to a high school diploma.
  • WORK EXPERIENCE: Over one year. Pack building or related experience a plus.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to be thorough and organized based on company standards. Ability to analyze and conclude. Problem-solving ability. Operates with duality of focus (effective at working with others' priorities while ensuring completion of own tasks). Dependability as demonstrated by solid attendance and a record of accomplishing tasks within a specified period of time.


Order picker lift, computer, RF unit, copier, inventory reports, purchase orders, catalogs, printer, and manuals.


Inside working conditions in facility provided uniform. No environmental hazards indicated for this classification.
