The Care Management Assistant is responsible for performing administrative and operational functions needed in the Care Management Department. Oversees the administrative operation of the Care Management Department and acts as the administrative liaison between all clinical departments, community resources and third party payers/insurance companies. The Care Management Assistant provides support to the Care Management staff in fulfilling the requirements of the Care Management Department in the Women's and Children's area.
Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma:
GED equivalent or High School certificate. 1-3 years of experience. Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; IDX; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; Medical Terminology; Midas. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
