Immediate need for a talented Care Fund Coordinator III with experience in the Airline Industry.

Pay Range: $27.08/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process applications received for financial assistance, enter data into database, communicate with management in every work group to gather information regarding applicants, process payments for recipients, identify and coordinate resolution of system issues, design and audit internal accounting and operational processes including receivables, payables fundraising and general office processes, ensure compliance with all processes and procedures, coordinate monthly and annual audits, prepare information for Board of Directors meetings, monitor all required board confidentiality and security documentation to ensure completion, and provide information for annual IRS tax return.

  • This position will also provide basic software and hardware support to office staff and board members and liaison with IT support, conduct daily discussions with employees and retirees experiencing hardships, assist with catastrophic events and coordinate efforts with emergency planning and operations and field personnel as needed, assist with various fundraising and awareness events, and work with Corporate Human Resources and other areas to assist Client people in need.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Qualifications include strong customer service skills, ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding applications, ability to communicate effectively during stressful situations, ability to diffuse emotionally charged situations, ability to communicate without opinion on very personal situations, excellent organizational and administrative skills, detail-oriented, strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, proficiency with accounting processes and strong financial acumen.

  • Should possess good oral and written skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels.

  • Should possess outstanding telephone communication skills and be able to identify applicant's needs and determine appropriate action.

  • In additional, position requires strong project and relationship management skills, strategic thinking with the ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.

  • College degree preferred. Financial background and experience working with hardship situations desired.

  • Must be flexible and able to work extended hours and weekends as needed when catastrophic events occur. Limited travel involved.
