In accordance with the BHN Mandatory COVID vaccine policy - all staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated no later than day one of employment. Medical or religious exemptions will be offered and must be approved prior to starting work.

The same guidelines noted above apply during flu season (defined as December 1st - through end of flu season as announced by the CDC) for BHN's Mandatory Influenza Vaccine policy.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support BHN with the following:

  • Working with program therapist to provide inclusive services to individuals served.

  • Collaborating with individuals served to identify problems utilizing assessment information and develop individualized service plan (IAP).

  • Adapting treatment approaches to the needs of individuals served.

  • Incorporating dual diagnosis, methadone-related issues, housing needs, family support issues and other factors in to daily support and psycho educational groups.

  • Documenting plan of care according to established expectations.

  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of individuals served information at all times in accordance with 42 CFR.

This new BHN program serves women who have been designated for substance use disorder treatment via the legal system. The program offers acute treatment (ATS) and crisis stabilization (CSS) services.

What are we looking for in a Care Coordinator?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).

  • At least one year of experience in a substance use disorder field (required).

  • Credentialed as CAC, CADC, LADC-Assistant, LADC II (preferred).

  • Experience in group facilitation, IAP development, and treatment strategies such as motivational interviewing (required).

  • In successful recovery for two or more years, if applicable (required).

VIEW JOBS 1/6/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-04-06T00:00 POSITION TITLE/GRADE: Autism Center Coordinator 40 hours/ Non-Exempt Grade 8 PROGRAM/ SITE: Autism Connections - Franklin County SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support families with children with autism and the organization of the Autism Center. Assists in planning and implementing social activities for individuals with autism and their families; fosters parent networking including support groups; facilitates social/recreational opportunities with other providers and community resources; supports external communications; manages data bases; oversees information and referral program; in compliance with Pathlight, Community Resources and governing agencies' policies, procedures, and regulations. Essential Job Functions: * Collaborate with appropriate managers/staff to implement program activities for children and young adults with autism including sensory, social skills, and whole family recreation activities. * Responsible for quality of operations in front office and interactions with families and the public. * Prepare and process various communications which may require information tracking and/or collection, organizing and computation. * Develop and/or implement procedures for maintaining website, resources, and social media. * Assist in organizing parent networking opportunities including support/resource groups. * Responsible for coordinating a yearly calendar of activities and trainings, identifying locations, developing flyers, registration, tracking attendance, and evaluations. * Promote community integration by developing partnerships with community recreation organizations. * Respond to internal and external requests for documentation, performance measures, and other reports. * Assist in development of organizational procedures and practices to improve program. * Responsible for supervision of volunteers and interns. * Perform other similar duties required by responsibility or necessity or as requested by supervisor POSITION AVAILABILITY: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with flexibility as needed to accommodate programmatic needs. LOCATION: Greenfield, MA with travel throughout Western Massachusetts SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to designated supervisor. SALARY: $17.12 per Hour QUALIFICATIONS: * Broad knowledge of a discipline involving the use of a broad theoretical knowledge equal to two years of college focused in the areas of graphic design, and/or web site maintenance. * Over 3 years' experience in activities planning and interacting positively with families. * Experience working directly with children with autism preferred. * Requires valid driver's license and reliable transportation/vehicle. * Knowledge of website management, flyer creation and familiarity with social media. * Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups inside and outside the agency. * Ability to work effectively with a team of staff in designing programs.
