As a Care Communications Executive, you will have the opportunity to partner with the country's top healthcare providers and leverage our clinical IT and software applications portfolio to enhance outcomes for patients and their caregivers. Hillrom's portfolio includes high-value clinical applications that can help our customers drive improvements in patient and caregiver communication, clinical outcomes, and clinical workflow. You will partner with cross-portfolio sales executives to target key accounts and close IT and software solution sales that aim to protect patients and improve caregiver and patient satisfaction.

The geography for this role is the state of Michigan and Greater Cleveland.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Other duties may be assigned:

  • Use health economics data to develop territory business plans to meet/exceed assigned sales goals

  • Gain trust and maximize credibility with customers and partners

  • Proactively source and drive new business by capturing previously untapped customers as well as growing existing installed base for Hillrom Care Communications solutions, including clinical communication applications, nurse call/communication, real time locating, patient safety applications, connectivity, and other new products and solutions as they are introduced

  • Deliver effective presentations that promote the value of Hillrom solutions as drivers for clinical outcomes. Communicate valuable technical insight that provides customers with confidence and assurance that Hillrom solutions complement their IT environment

  • Interact effectively with all roles within the customer C-Suite via strong executive presence, tenacity and health economics' savvy to gain access to this audience for meetings that drive the business forward

  • Coordinate quoting and deliver proposals to customers that align with their needs, budget, and processes while managing discounts to protect margins for the business

  • Understand customer's buying processes well and effectively navigate the customers' contracting process in partnership with Hillrom legal and business resources

  • Effectively forecast and manage sales opportunities in Salesforce, inclusive of capturing next steps in the process, sales stages, probabilities, close dates and deal sizes.

  • Maintain and grow industry and product knowledge by staying up-to-date on healthcare trends, technology and economics

  • Utilize expertise to articulate specific economic and clinical benefits to customers including linking products to outcomes and providing solutions to customer needs.

  • Fully understand care communications' operational and service processes and be able to articulate processes to customers through sales process

  • Effectively negotiate and close deals, interfacing with key buying influencers, such as clinical users and IT, as well as department heads and the C-suite

  • Effectively manage an installed base to drive recurring and incremental revenue.

  • 4 years' experience as top performer in Healthcare IT or software direct sales, with C-level relationships

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required

  • Strong successful solutions selling experience with a history of new account identification and development.

  • Experience in learning and growing revenue for complex portfolio including new additions to portfolio

  • Technical understanding of IT environments and working knowledge of clinical processes and workflows

  • Strong track record of high-dollar, innovative sales and lifecycle selling

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tool and track record of effective funnel management and forecasting

  • Strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to details, organization, and time management skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers and staff externally as well as internal team members

  • Effective negotiation and closing skills

  • Up to 75% travel, including overnight

The Primary Care Account Executive will primarily be responsible for orchestrating the sales process from lead identification, prospect new business, maintain and grow existing client accounts and ensure sales strategies meet revenue objectives while promoting BioTel Heart products and services. He/she will build and forge strong relationships throughout their respective geographic responsibility and represent BioTel Heart Services professionally in all client and prospect interactions. The Primary Care Account Executive will also develop and implement agreed upon sales strategies which will focus on meeting both personal and business goals of expanding customer base and growing revenue, including achieving assigned revenue targets in their territory. The Primary Care AE will serve as the primary contact with all accounts in defined territory and provide updates and sales reports to Sales Leadership regarding territory status, including forecasts, sales proposals and business reviews. The Primary Care AE will demonstrate leadership within their peer group and lead by example. Essential Duties/Responsibilities : * Develop and implement a territory business plan with clearly defined strategies and objectives * Drive sales revenue and overall market share inside the territory as well as nurturing existing accounts * Develop relationships with Healthcare Providers, Key Opinion Leaders, within Health Systems, Physicians, Nurses and other hospital administration in exploring and securing new business opportunities for remote patient monitoring. * Arrange appointments, equipment demonstrations and eventual sales meetings of BioTel products and services * Communicate the company's competitive differentiation and value proposition to enhance sales and convert competitive accounts * Transport equipment / devices to potential customer facilities and conduct thorough demonstrations of BioTel products and services in accordance with established techniques and user needs * Develop and maintain current information regarding market conditions, sales potentials and competition activity within assigned territory. Keep Sales Leadership informed of all related details * Develop potential sales leads by conducting research, maintaining key industry contacts and attending territory trade shows and meetings * Provide weekly and / or monthly sales reports to Sales Leadership as directed in accordance with company standards and in a timely and consistent manner * Maintain compliance in staying within company budget guidelines with business expenses * Conduct periodic follow-ups with existing customers to ensure BioTel products are performing to their satisfaction and identify opportunities to and opportunities to grow and maintain relationship * Analyze weekly sales reports around activities conducted, pipeline opportunities, new business secured and ongoing relationships confirmed and report as required to Sales Leadership Other Duties/Responsibilities (list other performed duties) Education and Experience Requirements: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or health related field. * Relevant Work Experience: Three (3) or more years' sales experience reflecting a track record of proven success within the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, B2B, or DME markets.
