Providence is calling a Cardiovascular Technologist to work at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

This is a per diem, variable shift position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to perform invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.

In this position you will:

  • Assist the physician in performing invasive and/or interventional diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures

  • Demonstrate age specific patient care considerations

  • Function independently in all required roles, including scrub technologist, circulator, and monitoring tech.

  • Create and maintain records and documentation.

  • Maintains supplies and cleans rooms.

  • Maintain appropriate inventory for area and restock appropriately.

  • Interact with patients and families.

  • Provide calm, caring environment, and greet and orient patient/family appropriately.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate Degree or two year technical program -OR- completion of an accredited cardiopulmonary, cardiovascular, respiratory therapy or radiologic technology training program
  • WA State Licensed ARRT, RCIS eligible and must receive RCIS within 6 months of hire if not ARRT licensed.
  • ACLS

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years recent experience in acute care facility

  • RCIS certification

  • Two years Electrophysiology (EP) experience.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who enjoys the challenge of caring for high acuity patients on the telemetry unit. In this position you will: * Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care needs for patients who are in a telemetry environment, taking both physical and psychosocial elements into consideration * Communicate effectively with patients and their families about the patient's conditions and potential lifestyle changes * Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment At Providence Regional Medical Center Everett we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Literature shows that having BSN-prepared RNs contributes significantly to the quality of care. To that end, we are requiring that all nurses be either BSN-prepared or achieve their BSN within five years of hire. Required qualifications for this position include: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing * Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate * One year of acute care experience working with the patient population similar to the department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at this facility.
