Cardiovascular Services Manager

Under the direction of the Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Services Director, performs administrative duties of managing the daily operational oversight of departmental activities and personnel. Plan and schedule work for the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Coumadin Clinic ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, equipment and supplies for subsequent performance of duties.

Fiscal responsibilities include managing supply expense and lost charges, payroll and staffing productivity and procedure codes and charges. Participates and manages staff in quality improvement initiatives, and maintains regulatory compliance. Assists Director in planning for new services including vendor and technology evaluation.

Maintains policies and procedures that adhere to applicable regulatory requirements and standards of care. Direct responsibility includes Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology and Coumadin Clinic.

Duties may be expanded or changed to meet department needs at the discretion of the Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Services Director.
