Baptist Medical Center is actively seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (CVT) to our esteemed Heart Center at Baptist Jacksonville.This Full-time position involves day shifts, spanning four days a week from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with on-call duties one night per week and every fourth weekend. Successful candidates are expected to obtain the RCIS certification within 12 months of hire.
As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist you will be responsible for:
Conducting diagnostic imaging and procedures related to the cardiovascular systems of patients.
Preparing Cath Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.
Performs technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures (cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals, and structural heart.)
Administering tests for diagnostic purposes
Assisting in procedures such as electrocardiograms, catheterizations, and pulmonary functions.
