Responsibilities

The Cardiovascular Data Abstractor (CDA) promotes the utilization of data collection findings in clinical practice. Facilitates and/or conducts data collection independently and/or collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of data abstraction or analyst work experience in healthcare.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and report management/report writing.

  • Must have understanding of medical terminology.

  • Data collection identification and accurate data entry.

  • Experience with PC's, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications is necessary.

  • Proficient in MS Excel is key.

  • Experience with Meditech/Cerner is beneficial and knowledgeable with TJC Standards.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.

  • Clinical License is preferred.

Job Summary: Reporting to the business line head, the Business Analytics and Data Product Management Director leads the Product Analytics team, who supports key functions across the business, including Marketing, Digital and Sales organizations. He/she will be responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing optimization of all central analytics initiatives, capabilities and services to support the Consumer Bank's businesses.
