Job Summary
The Cardiology Procedure Technician I works within our monitor or pacemaker department. They are responsible for a variety of Cardiology tasks.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
Applying a variety of cardiac monitors
Provides technical instruction for patients and/or families regarding the device. (i.e. how the device functions, technical troubleshooting, holter monitor, event monitor, mobile cardiac telemetry and 24-hour blood pressure monitor.)
Cleaning monitors
Maintaining a log of monitors and / or recording monitor data in a database on SharePoint.
Demonstrates the ability to generate diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
Scan holter monitors.
Assists with clerical duties in Cardiac Device Clinic.
Schedules appointments within electronic medical record.
Makes all attempts to meet the customer's expectations.
Completes department required training, (i.e. basic EKG course).
Independently performs EKGs.
Works collaboratively with all staff.
All other duties as assigned.
