Cardiology - Invasive/non-interventional (SA196973) Kissimmee, Florida

The Regional Medical Center is assisting a well established Cardiology practice in their search for a board certified/board eligible Invasive/non-interventional Cardiologist. This large group practice specializes in Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Interventional Cardiology and is expanding due to growth in the area and needs an invasive, non-interventional candidate.

This group has been in practice for the past 20 years and has established themselves as a well-respected leader in the community. Currently they have 7 physicians in practice and are looking to add an invasive cardiologist to their team. They are offering a competitive salary and benefit package. Spanish speaking a plus.

This Medical Center is a brand new two-story, 100,000 square foot hospital with 24 private medical-surgical beds and a six-bed ICU. In support of both inpatient and outpatient care, the facility provides a full range of acute care services including emergency services, diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services, supported by a medical staff of 125 doctors. The Emergency Department is approximately 11,000 square feet with 12 exam rooms, EMS entrance and helicopter pad.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the city population was 59,682 and is a Principal City of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford, Florida, Metropolitan Statistical Area, which had a 2010 population of 2,134,411.

Moments to Orlando, Kissimmee is a family-oriented destination known for its themed dinner theaters, swamp tours and outdoor activities. In downtown Kissimmee, spend some time in Kissimmee Lakefront Park and walk around the waterfront, stopping for ice cream, some splashing in the fountain pool and perhaps a cast into the lake known for bass.

Walk past the Monument of States, made of minerals from every state and many nations. Watch for murals depicting the town's past as a cattle capital, where present-day rodeos and cattle auctions allow visitors and residents to remember the historic past.
