This southwest GA health system,a JCAHO accredited facility, is seeking a board certified/board eligible invasive or non-invasive cardiologistfor its cardiovascular services. Board-eligible candidates may be considered subject to obtaining Board Certification status within one year of employment.
Expertise is required in Echo, Nuclear Medicine, and General Cardiology. Average approximately 15-20 patients per day. This salaried physicians will receive a competitive salary based on MGMA guidelines, fullhealth system employee benefits (including profit sharing, relocation expenses and educational loan assistance), as well as, office setup and support from the health system administrative management team.
The Medical Center is a four-hospital, three nursing-home system with 540 beds. It employs more than 2,500 people and boasts an outstanding medical staff of more than 160 qualified specialists. Our flagship hospital is a 264 bed, notforprofit hospital, offering stateoftheart facilities with 140+ physicians on staff with a service area over 200,000.

The Team Lead (TL) reports to the Service Area Manager (SAM) within Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency. Responsible for leading a team in operational aspects of preparing clients for employment. Counselors are trained professionals who help people with disabilities live more productive, independent lives. These counselors are typically master's-level individuals with degrees in rehabilitation counseling or related fields and often hold licenses or certification. Primary Responsibilities: * Provide day-to-day team leadership and coaching guidance to a team of individuals to meet goals of the agency; Coordinates and monitors the work of the team to accomplish tasks * Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish team objectives. * Assists the team and the client in the process of moving the client towards employment * Facilitate problem solving and collaboration; Ensures discussion and decisions lead toward closure * Able to foster change within the team; Motivate and inspire team members * Streamline the decision making process, solves problems for the best interest of the client * Foster relationships; Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them overtime * Knowledge of the organization; processes and procedures of client services/programs * Creates an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort; Communicating verbally and written; Ability to listen to input from team. Preferred Qualifications: * Current certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) AND Three (2) years of professional experience as a Rehabilitation Counselor which includes one year of supervisory experience in a human service delivery program. Master's degree in education, counseling, rehabilitation counseling, or a closely related from an accredited college or university field AND Two years of professional experience in social work, counseling or equivalent areas OR Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling, social work, or a closely related behavioral or social science field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of related experience OR One year of experience at the lower level Rehabilitation Counselor 3 (SSP062) or position equivalent.
