Part of LifeBridge Health, the Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) provides services at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest, Carroll and Grace Hospitals as well as satellite locations throughout Baltimore & Carroll counties. The Cardiac Surgery Division maintains a well-established, high-quality program performing 350-400 procedures per year. Surgeons actively perform TAVR procedures and collaborate with Institute colleagues in other catheter-based aortic and structural heart procedures.

Job Summary Employed, full-time position based at Sinai Hospital CVI includes 2 Cardiac Surgeons, 39 Cardiologists and 12 Vascular Surgeons Full spectrum of adult cardiac surgical procedures, including TAVR Established, high-quality program of 350-400 cases per year 24/7/365 Advanced Practice Provider support Two dedicated cardiac operating rooms with own staff Dedicated Cardiac ICU, step-down unit Strong support of administration Sinai and Northwest hospitals employ 20 Advanced Practice Providers to support CVI Competitive salary and benefits structure are guaranteed by the financially strong and growing LifeBridge Health System

Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited Medical School Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery Expertise in TAVR required; other catheter-based skills desirable At least five years of post-fellowship experience Verifiable excellent outcomes Excellent communication and organization skills Must work well in a team environment

What You Will Do As an Associate with St. Agnes Healthcare-MD, you will have the opportunity to assist with procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Responsibilities: * Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. * Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. * Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted. * Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. * Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA. * Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards. What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration: * Required Credential(s): * BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) required at hire date or job transfer date. * ACLS Provider credentialised form the American Heart Association (AHA) required at hire date or job transfer date. * Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians required. * Preferred Credential(s): * Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
