The role you will play

• First Assistant renders direct patient care as part of the Perioperative role by assisting the surgeon in the surgical treatment of the patient.
• 4 - 10's or 5-8's
• Call is 2 days a week and every 3rd or 4th weekend.
• Call pay is $7.50/hour and OT if called in.
• 350 hearts with 350 vascular and thoracic cases
• Proficient in EVH
• 2 Surgeons and adding another one.

Background Profile

• Completed and passed an approved course in First Assisting or PA
• 2 years’ experience with Cardiac/ EVH
• 3+ years of OR experience
