Baptist Health is looking to add a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to our Diagnostic Cardiology Department at Baptist Beaches. This is a Full-Time, day shift opportunity of 4 10-hour shifts M-F. This Sonographer will operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2-D or 3-D images of the heart and will also help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients.

We are seeking someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and a commitment to patient care and safety.

As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer, you will be responsible for:

• Providing diagnostic examinations of the heart using Ultrasound techniques.

• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

• Reviewing and recording cases.

• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and high-quality images

• Providing as needed back up to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department.

• Assist the working physicians to diagnose heart problems in patients.

Licenses and Certifications

• Adult Echo Credentials through either ARDMS or CCI within 18 months of hire Required

• Adult Echocardiography (AE) (ARDMS-RDCS) Preferred Or

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Preferred Or
