The Card Services Projects & Zelle Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day Zelle activity and assists with project-related functions, including ATM operations, card activity, and related services. Produces reports, assists in balancing issues, and troubleshoots all areas of the ATM network. Manages the COOP relationship for member technology. Assists with monitoring and evaluating operational functionality for Zelle, card-related products, services, and reporting. Provides technical support and an exceptional service experience to all team members to contribute toward the success of the department projects and initiatives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Personally, provides exceptional member service; uses Service Standards in every work-related interaction.

  • Actively participates in meeting the goals of the department and the Credit Union.

  • Provides excellent service by using a positive and professional tone to assist callers and team members accurately, thoroughly, and as efficiently as possible while maintaining consistent and friendly service.

  • Uses organizational tools and techniques to complete tasks on time and successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Service

  • Acts as a liaison between Card Services, Loss Prevention, and Digital Services/internal departments on Zelle related updates.

  • Responsible for the professional and accurate communication of ATM, Card, Zelle, and departmental information to Arrowhead Credit Union branches, departments and/or vendors.

  • Proactively provides updates to department leadership and organizational stakeholders related to forthcoming Card Services projects and Zelle updates.

  • Participates in assisting the ATM & Card Operations Specialist 2 with aspects related to ATM installation, including but not limited to being onsite, vendor coordination, equipment ordering, and invoicing.

  • Serves as the liaison between the Credit Union and ATM networks such as VISA-DPS, CO-OP, and others.

  • Assists in preparing communications, presentations, and memorandums related to Card Services department, as directed by leadership

  • Ensures internal stakeholders are aware of updated guidelines, regulations, and best practices related to Card Services and Zelle.

  • Responds to and prioritizes daily notices.

  • Provides insights and training to new department team members regarding Zelle and department projects.

  • Analyzes trending shared branch transactions including but not limited to ATM, in-person shared branch transactions, and Zelle.

  • Focuses on balances, processes, operations, and/or maintains various shared branch/Zelle, credit, debit, and ATM reports, including General Ledgers (GLs).

  • Provides support and problem resolution for the ATM services.

  • Assists with monitoring ATM cash flow, adds, adjustments, and ordering as needed.

  • Responds to inquiries and requests for assistance to resolve inquiries for all ATM services.

  • Assists with ensuring maximum day-to-day availability and up-time of all ATMs by maintaining a 98% up-time of all ATM machines in the network.

  • Assists with analyzing ATM data and produces reports to monitor ATM availability and potential issues. Makes recommendations to management and/or vendors based on findings.

  • Assists with monitoring third-party vendor maintenance of ATMs.

  • Works with ATM maintenance vendors to troubleshoot and resolve ATM downtime.

  • Works with CO-OP Zelle to ensure timely responses and processing of their Zelle inquiries

  • Analyzes and refines reports to assist other departments with ATM or Zelle charges.

  • Assist with project management of adding, removing, or relocating ATMs, including preparing and submitting all network documentation to the appropriate networks.

  • Assists with implementing changes to ATM functionality as required through the design, development, and coordination of ATM states and screens.

  • Actively participates with inter-departmental teams to ensure maximum ATM, Card, and Zelle functionality.

  • Researches issues and provides information to requesting parties.

  • Ensures compliance with the organization's requirements for information protection by maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and security of Credit Union and member information.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC), and complies with all laws/regulations applicable to area of responsibility.

  • Completes all required and assigned training modules by established due dates.

  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.

  • Other duties assigned by supervisor/department leadership as necessary to achieve the goals of the Credit Union and the department.

The pay range for this position is listed below.

Starting pay for successful applicants is generally within the minimum to midpoint of the pay range. Our consideration for pay is designed to support career growth and development over time. Offers extended depend on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to individual experience, knowledge, training, education, geographic location, market demands, and internal equity.

Pay range:

Minimum: $26.67/hour | Midpoint: $33.33/hour | Maximum: $40.00/hour
