Micro and Small Businesses play a vital role in driving economic development. In order to ensure that Micro and Small Businesses, in Central Alabama, have the much-needed support to thrive and create jobs the Central Alabama Redevelopment Alliance's (CARA) Micro and Small Business Accelerator Program seeks to equip and empower these businesses with resources, tools, and guidance to enable them to overcome challenges, harness their potential, and contribute to the growth of their communities.

The Central Alabama Redevelopment Alliance seeks to empower micro and small businesses in order to bring about lasting improvements by creating more job opportunities that foster a sustainable change within communities.

To achieve this, CARA offers a range of resources aimed at bolstering economic viability. By working hand in hand with local communities, we strive to break down barriers and create an environment conducive to entrepreneurial success.

Search relevant databases and websites to collect key information for micro and small business grants and loans b. Research potential funding opportunities, analyze requirements of existing and future grants and contracts 2. Data Analytics a.

Create grants template of funders by industry b. Create presentations based upon researched data and analysis 3. Funding and Economic Expansion a.

Develop questions as research progresses, continually refine search terms and develop strategies based on learnings b. Create a funding opportunities database (and or spreadsheet) c. Create assessment for existing and new contracts and or grants
