Candidate must have a clean driving record and possess a valid US driver's license. This is an hourly paid position and pay is based on current scale. Nominal overtime required as needed.

As a Hertz VSA...

  • You'll be responsible for vehicle preparation to ensure vehicle is ready for customer pick-up.

  • Drive and park vehicles on-lot as needed.

  • Check for vehicle damage and ensure features of the vehicles are operational.

  • Check vehicle status. (rentable/non-rentable)

  • Ensure interior of vehicle is clean. (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum, etc)

  • Fill gasoline tank and check fill levels of all fluids

  • Clean the exterior of vehicle. (debug and wash)

  • Meet processing and standardization quotas.

  • Perform related tasks as directed by managers.

  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Mandatory Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and excellent driving record

  • Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles

  • Effective verbal communication skills with customers, co-workers and management

  • Must be able to carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management due to operational needs.

  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be at least 20 years of age.

  • Must be able to work outside year-round.

Applicant must possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities necessary to complete the responsibilities detailed above. The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: sitting, standing, walking, bending and twisting, climbing, driving, pushing and pulling, hearing, writing, lifting, typing, seeing, reading and the ability to use a computer and telephone.

Maintenance Leader The Montrose Recreation District (MRD) is accepting applications for the Maintenance Leader position to provide exceptional maintenance of the facilities managed and operated by the Montrose Recreation District for the benefit of the Montrose community. This recruitment is happening at a very exciting time; MRD opened the Community Recreation Center (CRC) in January 2017 and also the Field House opened in November 2017! Additionally, in 2019, the Connect Trail project will be built, which will connect Montrose from the Justice Center and the Colorado Outdoors Development to the north all the way south to the CRC. Lastly, this will likely be followed by the Holly Park & Riverbottom Drive Renovation project. MRD is a dynamic organization that has been increasing its level of service. The selected candidate will be centrally involved in helping us continue to maximize the quality and quantity of service for Montrose, to build community and better the Montrose quality of life. The position includes indoor and outdoor maintenance of district facilities including over 40 acres of active turf as well as over 100,000 square feet of indoor facility. This is a core staff member and full time position that includes an annual salary of $28,000 to $31,000 per year, a family pass to the CRC and FH, Paid Time Off (PTO), and an excellent health insurance plan, PERA retirement savings (13.7% of wage) and other benefits. Position Qualifications include: A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, including one year of supervisory experience plus a high school diploma or equivalent.
