Capture Manager SES Corporation is looking for a Capture Manager to lead and oversee all phases of capture and proposal management identification, qualification, capture, and advanced knowledge of proposal management and pricing. This individual will oversee and execute strategies and plans for specific opportunities/pursuits as assigned. Activities include facilitating and developing strategies based on customer hot buttons, conducting competitive intelligence analysis, developing solutions, and creating a winning environment across the pursuit team.

The Capture Manager is fully responsible for budget estimation and management throughout the life cycle of the pursuit once assigned and fully responsible for planning, controlling, directing and executing all activities from opportunity assessment to post submittal completing the required decision and Team reviews.

Requirements

Capture/Program Manager Job Duties:

  • Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer
  • Identifies and qualifies new business opportunities
  • Identify, document, and manage the internal and external capture project efforts
  • Analyze the organizations strategic plans and create a business development plan that aligns with our strategy
  • Determine the potential customer needs to fulll the requirements of the opportunity
  • Conduct competitive analysis
  • Create a pricing strategy
  • Generate a baseline and program plan
  • Create the detailed plan for the proposal development
  • Appoint, supervise, and collaborate strategies with partners/team members
  • Lead proposals efforts and coordinate between all proposal team members
  • Monitor, review, and direct weekly proposal progress ensuring adherence to the SES process and proposal schedule
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions and services according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Identify, grow, and collaborate with organization to ensure growth attainment
  • Support financial management of your contracts and potentially other contracts across the company
  • Perform management function of employee resources as needed

Requirements:

  • 10 years of relevant leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and Program Manager level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Candidate must be adaptive and flexible in an ever-changing customer environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent organizational, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
