POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America is seeking a part-time 3D Art Director located in Culver City, CA. The 3D Art Director will lead 3D photography and 4D video capturing of talents by ensuring efficient communication with talents as well as technical crew members in all aspects of 3D content production.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct 3D/4D face/body capturing sessions and ensure quality control, together with production team and R&D team.

• Effectively communicate with talent on the detail requirement of performance.

• Create technical documentation and record every step of R&D process. Communicate best practices across artistic teams as well as engineering team.

• Lead creative discussions and report production challenges and future workflow improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Your qualifications and experience should include:

• Bachelor's degree in art, Film, Communications, or a related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in directing 3D face or body capture sessions, human character development, or photo-real CG content creation workflow in games, film or other entertainment industries.

• Excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• Part-time: Fixed term for one year / 2 weeks a month onsite. 8 hours a day (hour/shift time negotiable)

• $85-100K part-time
