Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.
This is a Wells Fargo Securities Middle Office Operations role supporting the XVA and Contingent Credit Trading Desk. The role will involve supporting trading and hedging activities that will include bonds, interest rate swap products, credit default swaps, FX, counter party credit charges, and risk participation swaps. Responsibilities of the team include P&L generation and attribution, exception resolution, project management, position and trade maintenance, and regulatory reporting. The candidate will interact closely with multiple business partners including Trading, Sales, Finance, Technology, Documentation, Legal, regulatory, settlements, and Risk. This individual will be responsible for the management of a variety of day to day tasks as well as act as a senior support partner in supporting and implementing XVA.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

FINRA registration including Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)

Other Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of how capital markets work within a trading environment and have at least 5+ years of experience in either a middle office/risk role and/or equivalent experience in supporting a derivative trading desk.
Ideal candidate should have a strong skill set of profit and loss attribution, strong understanding of derivative pricing and risk, strong operational experience with complicated transactions, a conceptual understanding of either CVA , DVA, FVA, RWA, ImVA, Basel II and Basel III, SIMM/UMR/Margin knowledge, and Dodd-Frank.
Must be able to effectively prioritize while multi-tasking and think outside the box. The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast paced and consistently changing environment.
The person must be detail-oriented and respond in a timely manner to ad hoc requests.
Candidate must be strong in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, and VBA. SQL experience is preferred.
Experience with trading applications such as Bloomberg, Calypso, and Broadridge is strongly preferred.
A 4-year degree from an accredited university is required.
Series 7 is also required (or must be attained within 120 days of hire).
Graduate work and/or other professional designations (MBA, CFA, FRM) is preferred.
Monday - Friday, 7:45am to 5:30pm with additional time as needed.
