Capital Projects Account Analyst (Financial Analyst 3/4) Davis, CA, Job ID 69680 University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources County Location : Yolo County Location : UC ANR - Davis Date Posted : May 29, 2024 Closing Date : Until Filled Position Summary: The Financial Analyst/Capital Projects Accountant will provide high-level technical, financial, and budget support to the Facilities Planning and Management (FPM) unit as well as UC ANR Senior Leadership in support of Capital Programs.

This position provides critical, high- level analysis on a wide range of budget, financial, and other resource planning and allocation issues related to capital planning, construction, and maintenance projects. Uses advanced professional concepts and organizational objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. The position will process invoices, develop and manage departmental and project budgets, prepare reports, and update tabular and graphical data as needed for financial planning and forecasting. The position will interpret and follow UC policies and procedures for budgeting and expenditures relating to capital construction, maintenance, and professional agreements.

This position works closely with colleagues from ANR Financial Services, Resource Planning and Management, Research and Extension Centers and the Business Operation Center. Contacts are both internal and external to the department. This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.

This position is posted as a Financial Analyst 4 but a Financial Analyst 3 may be considered depending on the level of experience of the hired applicant. The home department for this position is Facilities, Planning & Management. While this position normally is based at 2801 2 nd Street in Davis, CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements, for applicants living in the State of California, at this time.

Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by the University. Pay Scale: Financial Analyst 3 - $71,100.00/year to $128,700.00/year Financial Analyst 4 - $87,300.00/year to $125,300.00/year This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
